Who We Are
Women Speak Up is a 501(c) nonprofit in Perth Amboy, New Jersey dedicated to funding internships, resources and annual women’s events. Our Women Speak Up event is created to help promote positivity in women throughout their journey. This event has been taking place annually since 2018 and has also been a nonprofit since 2020. There are artists, business owners, poets, guest speakers and sponsors in the New Jersey & New York Area who come together and also donate to a cause in support of women globally. We pride ourselves on allowing women to be themselves and embrace who they are through their creativity. This year's theme was “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories”, where we helped raise funds for our non-profit and the Malala Foundation.

The Women Speak Up performers embody the vibrant emerging talent of the Tri-State area as they grace the stage with their unique and authentic voices, shining a spotlight on the region's rich artistic diversity. Their captivating performances not only touch our hearts but also serve as a testament to the incredible potential within our local community, proving that remarkable talent knows no bounds when given the chance to shine.

Our Community
The Women Speak Up Community is one that is always welcoming women that are in need of a safe space and a home to express themselves. With the help of our creative director, as well as our interns and our long-time followers, we are able to create a platform for women to get the resources that they need as well as connect with others who share the same struggles and interests. We are always looking to be a helping hand to someone in need, as our team is working around the clock to make sure that our world is a better, safer place for women everywhere. We welcome women of any age from any background to join us in our journey, while we also help you with yours.
